At Yellow Circle we design from the inside outward to ensure a uniform 'visual voice' throughout the site.
Discovery and Definition
Our graphic design team invests the necessary time to acquire an understanding of our clients' vision and the concepts their Web site should portray. We also gather information about their customers and what they expect to find on the Web site. This information forms the basis of a creative brief, a document describing the elements of style that we intend to employ.
Concept to Sketch
Next comes an in-depth process that begins with the artists brainstorming and internally discussing ideas with the rest of the development team and our Creative Director. Free exchange is encouraged, keeping in mind the business goals of the design. We do not design for design’s sake. After concrete ideas have been contemplated and agreed upon, concept development and sketching commences. The site begins to come to life.
Initial Home Page/Secondary Page Presentation
Yellow Circle presents our client with the creative design for the home page as well as internal (if required) pages with a verbal explanation of the design elements and concepts that were considered in the development of the theme (the look and feel). Feedback is essential to refining our process so we value our client's reaction to the design. From this presentation and response process come precise refinements that lead to a final design.
Design Approval
Designers and other development team members meet with the client team to present the final design for approval. The goal is to review how we address all preceding feedback and reach consensus on all aspects of the layout, colors, fonts and images.
Design Phase Completed
As graphic design is completed, clients are confident they have invested in a custom design that reflects their aesthetic preferences, matches their business goals, and benefits from the guidance of experienced professional Web designers.
